Being direct as a person Semodi also follows a direct in-your-face approach in his music. His rhythms are unapologetic and sophisticated at the same time, featuring a multitude playful details in the background. They force you to listen and to dance, drag you in and then when you’re hooked, Semodi feeds you the iconic melody that you have been waiting for for so long.

In recent years Semodi released a number of tracks and EPs on labels like Mukke, Heimlich, Thisbe Recordings and Bonzai Progressive. On his releases you can find remixes by Nico Pusch, Melokind Theus Mago and just recently for the “Liebe Sucht” EP: Dirty Doering and for the “Ritual EP”: Niko Schwind. Furthermore Semodi did remixes for artists such as Maria die Ruhe, Radial Gaze and Pyrame.
Also he has been touring Germany’s electronic music festivals (Fusion, Katzensprung, Wilde Möhre) with his live-act Mojoy and played DJ sets in Berlin’s renowned clubs Renate and Ritter Butzke.
